Willy Jones had never even considered a career in healthcare. What he was really interested in was video games. But after his mother enrolled him in Rush Mini-Medical School, he quickly grew interested in the ways artificial intelligence (AI) was being used to power medical devices. Willy learned that he would need to study math and science in high school to prepare for a career in technology. With the help of a college student mentor, he developed good study habits and got good grades. After applying to several colleges with a pre-med program, he just learned that he was accepted by all of them.
