Dr. Thompson, a professor of Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology at the University of Illinois Chicago, is recognized for his exceptional work in promoting diversity in STEMM fields. His leadership and mentorship have profoundly impacted underrepresented students pursuing careers in medicine.
